Fortunately being tagged is sort of like having the mumps. You develop immunity after getting it once! But it's always nice to be thought of. I always wanted to read that Anna K. book too...

One book that changed my life: New Seeds of Contemplation by Thomas Merton. Read it in college, right during the time I thought I had God all figured out in terms of physics, and was quite chuffed with my intellectual ingenuity. But during that the whole time when I was busy reducing the sacraments into elemental human needs being met, I couldn't keep my hands off the religion section of the local library. God and I met during that time, piercingly, and even though it took me two decades or more to pick up my junk and get on the Path, that book and that time never left my mind.
One book I've read more than once - Murder Must Advertise by Dorothy Sayers. Anything about Lord Peter Wimsey. I can quote entire passages.
One book you'd want on a desert island - Is there anything called "Do It Yourself Gynecology?" Just kidding. I don't have one for this, I think I'll swipe yours right after you read it.
One book that made you laugh - I do enjoy books that make me laugh until I weep and get the hiccups. One of the more recent is James Lilek's Gallery of Regrettable Food. Or, practically anything by Dave Barry. Helplessly-snorting-on-the-commuter-train-until-people-look-at-you funny, those guys are.
One book that made you cry - She's Come Undone by Wally Lamb. I should read that again, good summer reading, if a little depressing.
One book you wish had been written - wow, what a concept. Maybe "The Absolute Honest Diary of my Life" by my ex-husband, published before we got engaged.
One book you wish had not been written - Joyous Wisdom by Nietzsche (the one where he said "God was dead") - the damage that man has done and continues to do... Or, now that I think of it, Being and Nothingness by Jean-Paul Sartre, because I actually have read it and his influence is even more insidious, being more recent and more angrily disillusioned.
One book I'm currently reading - The Collected Stories of Flannery O'Connor. Seems like a Catholic must-read, although I haven't been seized with the admiration many have for her...yet.
One book I've been meaning to read - The Man Who Was Thursday, G.K. Chesterton.
